Don't be Fooled by First Impressions...

From the outside, this place looks well-kept & the office staff seem friendly. However, the building is poorly insulated, loud & the staff are unfriendly and provide inadequate information. NTS does not care about customer service & is not willing to help or work with you at all.
This winter I had a maintenance problem & woke up several nights without heat & warm water. Maintenance was quick to come check the problem, but it took several phone calls & visits before the problem was fixed. The office staff never offered to alter my rent for the frigid, January nights without heat. Sometimes "I'm sorry" just doesn't cut it.
Furthermore, the place is poorly insulated. Your heating bill will be absolutely ridiculous in the winter. You can feel the cold drafts from every window & door inside your apartment during the winter months. I started insulating the front door at night to help reduce the draft & decrease my gas bill.
Finally, the office staff is very unfriendly & do not clarify information well at all! One word of advice, do not break your lease with this place! They will screw you out of every nickle & dime. Before I signed my second year lease, I wanted to verify their lease penalty fees. They informed me that there would be a $2,000 lease penalty fee. However, they failed to ever mention that you would also have to give a 60 day notice. Most people getting relocated with their employment usually don't even have a 60 day notice! They do not try to work with you at all & suggest that you talk with your place of employment about paying the fees. I even got a relo package with work, but it didn't even come close to covering all of their outrageous fees.
My only word of advice - don't rent from this place! You will regret it!!!
