I only wish I had done my homework sooner.... I have NOW gone thru all the online reviews for Woodland Springs Manor on 116th in Carmel. Living there has been a nightmare, I am actually in the process of moving out. (Breaking my lease!!) I need to move from this dismal place asap. Since the beginning it has been nothing but maintenance issues, inconsiderate neighbors, the unresponsive staff and the worst is the so called Business Manager! She is completely clueless, unproffesional, unapproachable, most petty and arrogant person you could deal with at your residence!! She argues, condecends, confronts and is a farse. She is way "off"!! Just to give you some specifics, I've had issues from a unresolved leaking shower unit, bathrooms are gross/old, broken closet door, A/C repairs, water heater issues, smoke in hallways, trash in hallways, spills, loud neighbors and numerous other interruptions by the staff. It's like the Ghetto of Carmel. You would expect way more for the money you pay...oh and the pool in the summer, yeah only went in once...talk about DISGUSTING! You probably get a letter once a week, left at your door from the "Manager" with stuff like: No Smoking or Pick up Trash... get the picture''
Please look elsewhere when wanting a nice place to live, especially if you have children. The only neighbor I befriended, who is right next door is a sweet old lady and she wants out of there too!!!
Continued... since writing this review I have had more confirmation that this place is a joke too and the manager needs serious help and business skills, but I am done thank goodness with this place and it is not my problem anymore. Note to Amber... Karma, it will catch up to you!
