I've only been living here for as long as I have because I like the way my apartment is set up (1 bedroom loft), it's close to work, cheap, and I'm not home very often. In the winter, the parking lot is hardly ever plowed, leaving your car to easily get stuck. In the summer, the grass doesn't get cut until it's a couple feet tall. The pool is greeen frequently. The loft apartments are very drafty. One building has storm doors on these apartments, which I am sure makes a huge difference in the NIPSCO bill. I was told they were getting all these apartments storm doors when I moved in....still nothing 3 years later. The door is rusty and falling apart because it is exposed to the elements, making the draft worse. You can't even put up weather stripping because it has nothing to stick to but rust - it falls off with all the rust on my floor all the time. The windows are incredibly drafty. Mine doesn't even close all the way and so I have to putty the cracks in the winter. Not to mention the fact that even though this window is on the ground level, there is no lock whatsoever! Management is very hard to get a hold of. And there is almost no good parking! The grounds would be very nice if they were kept up, but they aren't at all!
