Poor Sound Insulation. Pet Problems

We moved into The Enclave apartments shortly after getting married. We have a rat terrier who barks when left alone. The sound insulation in the floor is so poor that the small dog could even be heard by our downstairs neighbors when she was jumping on the tile floor. The complex is pet friendly however it is not very condusive to dogs because of the sound insulation. The apartment complex makes you sign a contract that if the pet is deamed a disturbance by management that you have 48 hours to remove the pet or eviction. Needless to say, we are forced to look for a new place to live after being in the aparment for less than 4 months.
I strongly do not recommend these apartments if you have a dog or kids.
Some benefits of the place are the size and appearance of the apartments as well as the very nice nature preserve near by.
