Grissom Estates is not the worst place to live but it is not the complete best. There are basically the same problems here that you will find in any other apartment complex. You have some noisy neighbors and some quiet. Apartments are average. We moved here because of the location only, I would rather be somewhere else but Grissom Estates is an alright place to live if you do not have a lot of money. I do not recommend coming here if you have pets because of the high deposit you pay when you sign your lease. You are not allowed to have grills on your patio because of insurance reasons which was a major bummer to our family. Dont completely base your decision on what you always read, always go in and check it for yourself. Always check the actual apartment that you are renting instead of just basing it on the "model" they show everyone.

It is now Summer of 2007 and it is of my own personal opinion that life at Grissom Estates rates a "1" with this being the lowest score possible. This is greatly influenced by the current Manager of the apartment complex. It is quite obvious that she does not have a Business Degree & I honestly have to wonder if she even received a GED. Though, I will be the first to say that with the proper training on management, business law and communication skills... She would have the potential to influence positive change within this apartment community. But until that occurs... DON'T MOVE HERE!

We both know who you are and to be quite honest you where living in Grissom for many years until they stopped kissing your butt. Everyone is so glad you are gone! Good luck to you and our apoligies to your new neighbors.
