Good starter location

I moved in to River Chase just out of college. I wasn't too sure about the community, but I couldn't find any good reason not to move in. Most other places I looked at were way out of my price range, or you didn't control the tempature in your own apartment, or it would take you 15 minutes to make it to any major road.
River Chase offers a central location. You're literally 5 minutes from almost anything. The community for the most part is made up of hard working folks and I've yet have a rowdy neighbor experience.
The office and maintanence staff are prompt and the apartments have had several upgrades since the building was constructed. River Chase was the only place I could find a roomy layout with washer and dryer hook-ups at an affordable price.
There is a train that rolls by on the opposite side of I-65 which can sometimes be a bit disturbing. Highway noise hasn't been a problem. My only complaint would be that they repave the parking lot there are pot holes all over the place.
All in all River Chase isn't as glamerous as some places out there, but I'd say it's a diamond in the rough and good for a starter apartment or those like me on a tight budget.
