We were shown a beautiful apartment, but they won't let you see the one you will be moving into because it's "still being cleaned."

The air conditioner is noisy, noisy as in you can't watch TV in the living room when it's on. Additionally it doesn't cool the upstairs.

The Dishwasher has never cleaned the dishes, and the office's reply to a maintenance call is to tell you to use this expensive type of dish soap that still doesn't work. The office said everyone would get new appliances in spring 2004.. It's well into summer 2004 and I still haven't heard anything.

My neighbor's outside hose leaks into his kitchen and they keep telling him they're waiting on a 'service contract' to fix it.

Maintenance won't listen to a woman even if she knows what's wrong. We had a leak and when they came to fix it my wife told them precisely why it leaked, and they didn't listen to her and caulked the leak. It leaked again, and they came back. My wife told them again why it leaked and they didn't listen and caulked again.. I still have a leak.

I strongly recommend you look elsewhere when apartment hunting.
