If you are new to Columbus don't be fooled by the smiling faces in the leasing office at Steinhurst Manor. (FYI: Steinhurst Manor and Quail Run are both ran by the same management)Reading some of the previous posts, I could not agree more with some of the past tenants! Forget, and I mean really FORGET ever seeing your security deposit again. You could literally polish every inch of your apartment with a toothbrush and there would still be something not clean enough for this management. I also feel that I should mention (so you do not waste your time and money with this place) that I have had several horror stories from other co-workers at Cummins that they are not trustworthy, professional or reliable when it comes to any aspect of a good business. I could write a novel about all of the bad experiences I have heard about. Steinhurst Manor/Quail Run will basically do anything to TAKE your money. Proceed with caution is my advice. Don't be scammed. Why is this place still in business'

I think these bad reviews are right. I would not be surprised if the good reviews posted here are written by the management.

I would second that. If you get into issues with the management...the management has the final say and will quote you the Lease Agreements etc. even if you are RIGHT in the first place. Security Deposits 'Yes' its true....you would be in the loosing situation even if you received the apt. in a not so good state (which is common). While leaving you would be expected to turn this 30 - 40 yr old apt as a NEW ---- and span apt!!!! You would need to be Santa to do this miracle. Rent is very high. And when many of their apts fall vacant, they are likely to be let to non reliable folks (I am being political here) that causes the rest of the residents ENOUGH problems and SAFETY issues. Why would you want to have your life suddenly turned into a nightmare and if you have kids added daily stress. Apts grounds are well maintained, however the apts themselves are old and need very frequent repairs at your expense in terms of personal anguish, trouble, sometimes your money too.
