DO NOT LIVE HERE !!!!

I have lived here for over two years. When I first moved here it was a good place to live. Since Emperian management bought this place it has gone to hell! MOST of the staff is very rude and don't know their jobs.
The pool was closed most of last summer and is currently still closed. They take their time to fix anything. I had a flood in my half bath and when I called after hours they told me to call back the next day that it was not an emergency.
If you are thinking about living here read all the reviews first and do your research! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Good luck.

I live at Settlers Run as well. It does take a lot longer to get maintenance since Emperian took over. I don't think they can keep maintentance people because they don't treat them well. The last maintenance guy I had told me that he wasn't going to hang around because they expected him to take care of over 300 apts with no help and bad treatment. They don't even change your furnace filter here unless you request it. I was having terrible resperatory problems and no wonder. So if you live here be sure to call them every year or twice a year, don't wait on them, it won't happen.
New rule is that you can't call them after hours for a lockout. You have to call a locksmith and pay for that yourself. I hope you happen to have your cell phone with you when you get locked out and hope you have a locksmith keyed in. I got locked outside my back door and had my key in my pocket but it wouldn't work in the lock on that door. I now use WD 40 regularly in that lock so I can get back in.
The reviews do tell it all. Too bad too because it could be so much more with the right management and care. Before you sign a lease, try to drive by at different times during the day and look out back if you can. I would not recommend Settlers Run.

Oh yes, I know all about the furnace deal. They are required to replace them but they don't. We always have to call them.

Yes I know all to well how friendly ----- is, her and ------ must be sisters. I say we all call emperian and let them know what a spectacular job their office staff is doing since its right on their home page how customer service is job one(http://www.epmapartments.com/whoweare.htm) what a joke.. -----s Number is 614-575-5244 ext ----, this number is actually the main directory for emperian so maybe we'll have some luck getting a hold of -----s boss.

CALL CALL and CALL again until results are seen. Complain about the rude staff and treatment..and no maintenance. Empirian will eventually get tired of hearing about it and maybe actually do something about it..if not..then don't resign your lease!!

Good luck on getting this company to care. I live in Avon Creek and the reviews of this place sounds like it could be written for here which is also owned by this crappy company. I complained to them and asked for someone contact me back. That never happened.
It must be common for this company to have rude staff and poor maintenance. I cannot wait to move out of here.
Thanks to everyone's comments. I looked at these apartments and thought about moving there, but I do not think I will now. I thought it may have been the apartments I live in but it sounds like they are all the same with this company.
