I do not agree with all the silly coments made by one of the residents at Settler's Run. I have lived here for a while and have see some people come and go ...and come again. I have a beautiful apartment, and feel very blessed to live in such a wonderful place. When I was growing up I got use to the sound of police, music and fighting outside my window. We were lucky to have a fan cool us at night while all 5 of us cuddled together on a mattress on the floor.My mom did the best she could after my daddy died. After that I was the man of the house and did my best to help raise ny brothers and sisters. I am an old man now that has been just about anywhere and done just about anything you could dream. There is a time and a place for judgement and I do not belive this is the time.So maybe if you think of where you have been and where you are now its not all that bad.I am so proud of myself and where I am right now and maybe that is why I am truley happy living here. Start with yourself and everthing else will fall into place. I do know sometimes rules you may not agree with, but they are there for a reason, Settlers Run has become organized and not as laxed, but this is a good thing...we all will pull away from structure...but in the end it makes everything better.

Sir, I admire your positive attitude. I am not happy here and it has nothing to do with rules imposed on me, it's actually neighbors that do not abide by the rules. It's also because of them allowing people to have 2 large dogs now. This wasn't the case when I moved in. I had my grandson over one day and a large dog came at us barking at my grandson and kept approaching him. I'm just not feeling so safe here any longer. Hopefully you live in a less threatening section than I do. If I could move my apartment somewhere else, I would be happy. I'm all by myself and I need to feel safe. We are all entitled to our opinions. I have not had any altercations with this Janice person myself so I can't speak to that. I'm moving where you can't have dogs over 40 lbs. and where it's not so close. We are literally on top of one another and little things can escalate when your space is invaded. Take care.

I'm thnking this person must feel at home. So if you like the sound of police and barking dogs and loud music, move here. Maybe it will be beautiful to you as well.
