As a Property Manager of 15 yrs I would stay far away from this community. I once lived at Woodberry when it was managed by Crossman Management Company, it was a super place to live I loved it, then I referred my Parents to move in this was in 2004. Saddend to say they sold and a new company took over. I moved out and rented a home, my parents continued to live there. With the new management company it went down hill quickly, my 65 year old parents had to mow their own yard put salt down on thier walkways and much much more. The Maintenance Supervisor Bill was let go and then things got even worse he was terrific. My parents with thier ages didn't want to move and at this time my fathers health was not well. The managers changed from time to time, the office was always closed. Again as a Property Manager myself I never understood how they ran this business being closed all the time. My mother and father then had to deal with trash moving in, dogs getting loose chasing my son and nephew keep in mind these were large dogs that were loose and chasing after them, also had to deal with dog waste all over my parents yard the younger kids couldn't walk outside the home due to being afraid of stepping in dog waste. Loud music, cars parking in non-parking spots the list could go on and on...........My father past away and my mother still wanted to live there due to that being the last place her and my father had together.. I ended up having to help her with rent due to the large increase she got, keep in mind she is still mowing trimming bushes and about to turn 70 soon.....thank goodness this summer June 30,2008 we got her moved out of that place, again the new manager is never NEVER in the office EVER......we couldn't get anything done, they are so cheap they wanted my mom to practically turn the unit for someone else to move into upon her moving out, sorry there is nothing she signed that she would make this unit market ready, they wanted her to wash windows have carpets prof. cleaned, change light bulbs, clean dryer vents the list went on,,,,,the lease only stated to return it the way she moved in which we did super clean and very nice her yard also well maintained. They are still trying to charge her for items she is not responsible for. We have hired an attorney and will file suit against them. Again I'd rather live on the East, South hood areas then ever live here or refer someone here, I will make sure knowing all the people that I do being in this industry and Managing an A property now that everyone knows how horrible this place is and even worse how it is managed by the office 1 office staff member as well as the home office..so so sad!!!!!!Stay away, don't bother email me if you need to find a good place to live I can refer you somewhere!!!!!!!!!!!!!
