My husband and I were Tenents for a 13-month lease in a 2BR 1 1/2 bath appartment. Facility is nice, with pool, very quiet, we had no problems with noice as I worked nights and needed to sleep during the day, this was very appreciative. The problem came when moving out. The manager came to "inspect" the appartment with me to compare with what we wrote down prior to moving into the appartment (ex: spots on carpet, small dents in walls...ect.) 1st of all YOU are responsible for getting the carpets Professionally cleaned prior to moving out. which we did. After going through the whole appartment..she stated that the windows and blinds could "use some touch up work" as far as cleaning." That was it! So I returned the keys and left on a plesant note. We recieved our deposit back and they charged $95 for cleaning the blinds and windows....Maybe this is me...but I think that out of a $400 deposit to take a quarter of that for cleaning blinds and windows...which by the way there were only 2 in the whole appartment and one padio door, is very excessive. I called to express my concern and there response was..."it's corperate who decides this" I know there is nothing I can do about it...but for current tenents who plan to leave or future tenents...be aware of there excessive charge as I could have PAID someone privately to professionally clean that appartment for less. I would not recommend this facility only for the reason that My husband and I had no other problem, but I'm sure if we did...they would not be very willing to help. We have both had prior appartments seperately and this has NEVER been a problem...its sad that they are able to get away with this behavior and leave the tenents with no choice.
