Peaceful Setting w/ excellent location

I currently live in Charter Oaks apartments. Having lived in a few different apartments in Evansville, I can say that this is my favorite community. The setting is beautiful, somewhat reminds you of a New England fishing village w/ a private stocked lake in the center. The managment staff is excellent. They do everything they can to make you happy, and are very concerned with resident's issues. The apartments are quite spacious, 875 s.f. for a one bedroom. Many of the apartments offer lake views which is quite nice to wake up in the morning with a cup of coffee in nice weather, and sit on your balcony and watch the ducks. The clubhouse facilities surpass are most likely the best in Evansville. They offer an indoor pool, outdoor pool, indoor raquetball and basketball, a fitness room, and dry saunas. They also have outdoor volleyball, and outdoor basketball. There is a large laundy facility and a club room w/ pool tables as well. The location is great. It sets in a nice residential neighborhood with other apartments and homes surronding it, yet its just minutes from the mall, restaurants, and Evansville's best schools (Hebron, Plaza Park, and Harrison). The rent is quite reasonable for all that the community offers, one bedrooms start at $470/mo. now I think. Compared to what else is available here, spending the extra $20 or $30 a month for a really nice neighborhood is worth it. Another nice feature about these apartments is that your neighbors actually speak to you, which is unusual for apartments. There are some residents that have lived here for quite a few years, which says alot about how much people like it considering how much people apartment hop anymore. It's really great for single people because there are very few kids (only one building has two bedroom apartments). I would recommed this complex to anyone who likes peace and quiet.
