Copper Creek, looks very nice when you first visit and indeed is a nice place with nice apartments. However, my family and I was shown the "model" apartment it was perfect w/ brand new carpet and appliances. The carpet in our actual apartment when we moved in was quite worn and the applicances were a little older (but still nice) and there was a different color scheme. The place is over-priced plain and simple...yes there are the amenities...a tiny fitness room and old computers. The pool looks great (havent had warm weather yet), and the laundry room is nice, I think $.75-1.00 a load. The BIGGEST problem with this place is the INFESTATION OF NON-MIGRATORY CANADIAN GEESE!!! The geese are LOUD! Do not live anywhere close to the "lake" which is actually a little pond. You will be awakened EVERYDAY at 5:30-6:00 by relentless honking and fighting by the male geese. Additionally, it continues all day long and at night (though not as noisy at night). The geese also deficate (dog like piles) EVERYWHERE! It is disgusting and doesn't get cleaned up. You will step in it on your way to your car and if you want to take a stroll ect.
Also the geese are aggressive and hiss at you and will even attack you. They are most unpleasant and nothing is being done to get rid of them. The grounds-keeping is not impressive either, there are cigarette buts everywhere. There are a lot of college students that live here, even though there is a mix of people living here. I know I live next to college people and they can get very loud. The management is very kind and I have only nice things to say about Peggy and Kathy. Also you pay extra for a smaller lease and garage use if you select these options.
