I lived at Eagle Village from May 2007 until July 2007 as I had an internship in Evansville. Living there was okay... I have no real complaints. I think it's a good place to live if you will be staying in Evansville for a short period of time as they allow month to month leases without charging you a crazy fee for doing the short term lease (it was only $400 per month- all utilities included).

The only bad thing happened about a month after I moved out when I was trying to get my security deposit back (you have to pay a $400 security deposit). Bottom line, I did not get my security deposit back and they actually tried to CHARGE me money saying that I did damage to the apartment... which is absolutely untrue as I don't drink, smoke, or party... all I ever did was go to work and use the apartment to sleep in. About a month or so after I moved out, they sent me a bill saying to pay them several hundred dollars for damages. I asked them to send me a list of the damages that detailed what I had supposedly done and told them that I was not going to pay them anything until I received it. They never sent it and I haven't heard from them since. All in all, I think they never plan to give anyone their security deposits back... so just factor that in when deciding if it's the most cost beneficial place for you to stay.

This place is a joke! Its honestly worse than living on campus. Be prepared to be harassed by the rude office staff if you get an apartment here. To make matters worse they have a maintenance man that does all their work around the apartments and he knocks on your door as he barges in everytime he comes to do something to your apartment for all he knows you could be standing their completely naked. Be prepared if one of your roomates moves out because they were literally harass you and give out your e-mail adresss and information to EVERYONE in the world until they feel the space. They could care less about your personal privacy, they are just interested in filling open spots in the aparment. Since I have lived in my apartment they have moved 3 complete strangers in with me, let me tell you it sucks! Not to mention they offer no pool, work out room or anything. They say they have security but I honestly wonder what they do because the freshman upstairs from me have partys every night making it impossible to sleep! The funniest thing about this apartment complex is everything breaks! Im not a destructive person, but since I've lived their everything has broke on me. You name it: shower heads, toliets, drawer handles, Oven handle, closet, if they even try charging me when I get out of this hell hole I will laugh in their faces! The groset thing that happened here was when the upstairs toliet overflowed into my downstairs bathroom. REALLY GROSS! This place is a joke!
