I enjoy the layout and the location of my apartment, but that's about it. I have had a lot of problems with the air conditioning, kitchen appliances, the sinks, toilet and the carpet. I spent a summer with no air for a couple of weeks and later told me that they should have called the professionals out. I never received a rent reduction for that month. I have complained about the 20 year dishwasher and the fridge, but they just replaced the dishwasher. I discovered that the framing around the door was wider than it should be and I have a big crack on one side. The locks have been replaced once because the original ones literally crumbled while turning the lock with my key on a rainy weekend night. I waited for over an hour for someone to fix it after a couple of phone calls from a neighbor's apartment. The walls and floors are paper thin. I can hear conversations through the walls and floors. I love to walk on my squeaky floor and wonder if I'm going to fall down to the next level. The safety issue is a big concern out here. The outside lights are a big joke. Someone can easily knock them down or a brisk wind. It uses regular light bulbs and the illumination is very dim. The sidewalks and the streets flood all the time. There's not enough parking for everyone and usually someone takes my assigned parking spot and I have to hunt for one from time to time. On the plus side the rent is reasonable and there's plenty of space for all your furniture and stuff. I never had any major trouble with neighbors and they have two pools here. It's very close to all the shops and restaurants. Good luck finding a good access road in getting in or out of here!
