I was a resident in the Mission Viejo apartment for 4 years and have recently moved because of job. I had some bad issues with the apartment company. I would like to share with the viewers whoever wants to live there. (1) The lease agreement was lengthy (4 full pages) and restrictive: Usually, you don t pay attention when you sign the lease but you will find out the limitation when you move out. If you think other apartments are taking your deposit when you move out. The Mission Viejo apartment is, too. The Mission Viejo Villas was under the InterProp Management Co. Inc. The company will take whatever reasons to keep the deposit. My bother lived there for a year and he also did not receive any deposit back. (2) The construction is of low quality: first, you can hear your neighbor s voice through the wall. Secondly, when it is a rainy day, the window is leaking. It is just like beautiful gift box with no quality inside. (3) Renew rate increased yearly: Since I live there, they increase the rent every year. Even you sign their contract/lease, they still increase the rent. (4) Parking was limited: Parking was not enough at night and some residents have to park away or next to the mail room. The staff is very nice to keep you leasing with them. You are the one to make the final judge. Good Luck.
