I lived here for 4 years. When I moved in it was great, the mgmt was good, the property was wellmaintained etc. Then during my 2nd year there the complex was sold and the place turned to ----. The grounds were not upkept properly. Half of the fince around the pond is missing, the grass was not mowed as frequently as it used to be, and they used to screen their tenants before they were allowed in. Now it is a bunch of white trash, alcoholics and drug users. I had to have my carpet half ass repaired while living there as it was coming up at the seams, all that they did was glued it down, when I moved out they gave me back 30 dollars of a 500$ deposit because they had to replace the carpet, hello. it was falling apart when I was living there and was never propperly repaired, becides what do they expect when you live in an apartment for 4 years. Considering they always replace the carpet when tenants move out, it was bull that they charged me for the replacement of it. Do not move here unless you like living with white trash.

You should have asked for a copy of your work orders, and then thrown that up in their face. You requested that your carpet be fixed and then they try to make you pay for it. If you had a copy of the work order where they were supposed to fix it, then you are therefore not responsible for paying for the carpet.
