So glad I ran away when I did...

I was almost tricked into thinking this was a decent place to live for the money, but I soon found out before I even signed my lease that this place was nothing but trouble and a headache from hell. How they stay 99.9% full all of the time is BEYOND ME. The main leasing lady in the office seems nice at first, but is absolutely FAKE and will turn into little miss attitude real quick. I needed an apartment in Evansville because I was relocating there for a job, and I was in a time crunch to find a place. At first, the leasing agent was friendly and acted like she would do everything in her power to get me moved in on time....It didnt take long to discover she was incompetent, rude, and careless. She said that she would make the appropriate calls ASAP, but days went by and I called daily to check on the status of things and she had not lifted a finger to get things done...I mean I realize she is busy but come on!!! She also lied about what the apartment needed done before I moved in...one day it just needed the carpets done but then suddenly it also needed maintenance, painting, housekeeping, AND carpets. She could never give me a straight answer on a move-in date and I was relocating from 4 hours away, with movers being paid by the hour...I couldn't risk being stranded without a place to live so I said FORGET REGENCY and went with a rental house instead and I am so glad I did. Renter beware!!
