i have lived here and am moving out of state next week. i have lived here since 2004 and survived a change in management. The new management doesn't do much in the way of groundskeeping, and i had to leave several messages to get anything fixed. the apartments aren't that bad. The bedroom was spacious. Parking usually wasn't an issue for me. Close to grocery stores and the Mall. There are only 3 washers and dryers to server 90 apartments, and sometimes tenants usually do multiple loads at one time so only one may be available. Decent neighborhood as well.
Average apartment, if you just want a place to stay with no community activities like larger complexes in town, then you may like this place.

I have additional comments regarding this same complex. Since new management has taken over, back in 2004, the place has anything but gone down. Prior, tenants were screened and obnoxious tenants were evicted quickly. Not now, new management takes anyone that will throw a buck at them. Management uses the "move in special, with 1 month free". Increase of noise of other tenants with no consideration for those who "do" have to work, regular or odd shifts. There are tenants that take care of there piece of ground with others just trashing the parkings lot as well as their own. Increase of tenants that use drugs with management participation. This includes "Northwoods" owned by the same management (Roy T Howard Investments)with similar issues. Don't look to get your security deposit back without issues, if you are lucky to get it back at all. Plumbing is very old and have had issues with water breakage within the apartments or upstair apartments flooding down on floor level tenants. Not a place you can sit out in the evening to relax or just come home to without issues of some sort. You would be looking at least $400's and well above for rent. For that price you could get an apartment in another area with less headache and better response time by management, handling issues/complaints. These issues are pretty much left to the tenant to handle with the Evansville police department, not onsite personel in off times. Issues are ignored or out of site out of mind, again left to the tenant to persue, until management is pressure enough. The past manager had less than 3 strikes you are out, and would not tolerate issues presented by Roy T Howard.
If you are one that needs sleep, enjoy peace and solitude, clean complex, etc. enter at your own risk.

I used to live in Spring Vally a couple years ago and my only issue was the maintenance man. On one occasion I left my apartment and went 2 doors down...I wasn't even gone for 10 minutes. When I returned my door was locked, which I had not done. I had to crawl through my window to get back in. I was confused so I called the owner, which at the time was Bonnie, she said there was a water leak and the tenats below me were complaing. I said OK and got off the phone...it took me a few minutes to remember that NOBODY lived below me or on one side of me. I looked around to see if anything was missing...and my grandma's antique china was gone. I think they're both thieves...
