My experience in this apartment "community" was terrible. I lived in two seperate apartments here. One, a two bedroom when I had a roommate, and the second was a one bedroom after my roommate had moved. Our first apartment was terrible. We had a problem with the bath tub rusting and peeling, so their quick fix for that was to paint it. They ended up painting it twice and neither time it worked. We supposedly had a wooded view apartment which meant it overlooked a couple of trees and a broken down basketball court. The actual apartment was tiny. My bedroom was the largest, and could fit a double bed just O.K., but my roommates was tiny and could barely fit a single bed. When you first visit the complex, they do everything they can to impress you. Their model apartments are in much better physical condition then what you actually get, and are furnished very well to make them seem even more appealing. Take my advice, request to see a vacant apartment rather than the model so you can get a better idea as to what you will actually get. If they say no, than you know why. They management and maintenence staff are rude and unresponsive to questions and concerns. In my second apartment, I had many problems with my cable television which the complex owns(you do not have any other options but to use their system). It would frequently go fuzzy and I could not watch it at all. Keep in mind that this is an extra fee each month that I was paying for. I complained about it for months and nothing was ever done. It was not untill I recorded with the VCR what was happening with it that I was finally given free cable for one month. Big deal, it still didn't work, and never worked up to the time I moved out. The only nice thing I can say about the "community" is the clubhouse. That is one very nice feature, but how many people actually use the clubhouse that often' It's just another feature that assists to draw poor, new, unsuspecting tenants into their realm of apartment hell!!! lol Take my advice, look for something else in Evansville. There are many other communities here, and many of them are very good. Charter Oaks is one of them, where I currently live. For a somewhat comparable apartment, it runs in the same price range. The management staff is kind a courtious, and facilities are excellent(indoor pool, outdoor pool, indoor raquetball, basktetball, saunas, and a private stocked lake). Square footage is great (875 s.f. for a 1 bedroom), and your neighbors are generally kind and speak to eachother. I am more happy in this apartment community than any other I have ever lived in, and plan to stay here untill I decide to buy a house someday. Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
