I would absolutely recommend Western Hills to anyone seeking a simple and affordable place to live, as I did for 5 years. As others have said, the complex isn't fancy and there aren't many amenities, but it's quite inexpensive and very well-maintained. The low prices do attract some college students and the occasional questionable tenant, but any problems are dealt with promptly by the management. (Jim knows everyone by name and is genuinely friendly and easily accessible.) Nice and quiet neighborhood, with very little traffic and noise. Close proximity to all of the retail along St Joe and the west Lloyd Expressway, and just a short drive to USI and the downtown area. Western Hills is a simple and safe place to live without breaking the bank!
