I would definitely recommend westwood to any one seeking apartments. They're cheap good quality apartments. I only stayed in the two bedroom, but i viewed a couple of the one bedrooms and they didn't seem bad at all either. Some of the carpet looks like it is dirty and from the 70's but they had just replaced mine and were replacing some of the others as the tenants moved out. I didn't have any major problems with the apartments. There would be times when the parking right next to the buildings would get full but they had plenty of other parking spots to park at that were slightly farther walk (10-15 yards further away). The apartment itself was fairly roomy, not much storage space, but the bedroom closets were pretty big and they housed everything i needed them to. The living room was big the bathroom wasn't big but it's average size. The only thing that was kind of a problem was the kitchen no counter top space and not a lot of room to store food, plates and other kitchenware. We had an extra bookshelf that we turned into food storage and it worked out great. The dining area is right next to kitchen so the counter top problem was remedied by just preparing food on the table.
They had terminix come out and spray for ants twice in the year that i stayed there once toward the end of the summer and once in the spring. I didn't really notice any other critters running around besides the occasional spider, but nothing unusual by any means.
Patty and the rest of the staff was friendly any time i had to deal with them. Most of the time it was just stopping in to pay rent, but there were a couple other occasions where tennants complained about us playing football or something and she was polite in her request to stay away and out of the way of cars.
The only bad thing about the place was the laundry room. It was filthy i didn't really feel like i got my clothes very clean when i was in there. There was nothing disgusting just needed to sweep and mop the room, but it didn't look like it had been done in a long time.
