HORRIBLE!!!! I had several maintenance problems while living there; which that can be expected... what isn't expected is for it to take the maintenance on average three different times of coming into the apartment, telling you the problem is fixed, then having the problem come back in a day and them returning to fix the problem they already told you they "fixed" The worst part I had, which was what got me out of my lease WITH my deposit back was spider infestation! I had mentioned to the landlord three times that I had BIG spiders in my apartment, and I am not talking about 2 or 3, I am talking about 2 or 3 a day. They came in the first time and maintenance said there were no signs of spider webs so there was no need for anything to be done. *Note to maintenance - not all spiders spin webs* The 2nd time, they had a company come in and set up traps around the apartment, which attracted ants, but not the spiders. The landlord still thought that there was no spider problem. Till one day I woke up with a swollen face and tongue; had to go to the ER and have my face cut open and had half my face covered with bandages for 2 weeks. After that I went back in to talk to the landlord, and again was told I had no proof I was bit in my apartment. So FINALLY, I got a friend of mine to capture one of these BIG spiders in a jar and took it into the landlord. She about had a heart attack when she saw how big they were. Came to find out, they were nesting in the crawl space in the closet that went over my bedroom... no wonder they didn't see cobwebs. After the proof of the spider and my hospital bills and record saying it was indeed a spider bite I was finally let out of my lease with no penalties and got my deposit back. But it was NOT worth the hell I went through to get them to listen.

You are CRAZY!!!!! There has NEVER been anything like that happen. Making up stories to get out of your lease- how pathetic!

LOL.... You can think that, but 1 - if you make up things, you won't get out of your lease, and 2 - I have pictures and documents. And unless you have been living there for over 5 years, AND you know EVERYTHING that happened in EVERY apartment there, then I guess you can't really say " NEVER been anything like that happen," Now can you? Nice try though.

I have lived in Westwood for over 5 years and I have never heard of anything like that happening. If you have documents and stuff, great, but how would the office know if there actually were spiders if THEY could never see them or find evidence of them? Terminex comes around and personally checks EVERY apartment several times a year for ALL kinds of bugs -- spiders included. I'm guessing they didn't find anything either.
