We've lived at these apartments for 5 years now and for the most part have been happy. Lately though it seems like the complex just isn't getting taken care of as well. Each time that we put in a maintenance request it seems to take longer and longer to get anything fixed. They did redo the pool area this year, which was a nice thought--but they really didn't change much at all and everytime that we go there the pool is filthy and has freezing cold water--not that i'd really want to get in the water because it's so dirty. The tennis area that used to be nice a couple years ago is starting to fall apart, has cracks in the court and weeds growing in it. They did "update" the grill areas in the late spring by painting the tables black--what an awful color to paint something that you're going to sit on in the summer!!--and adding cement to what used to be a gravel filled area. Well they did all this work back in early May and now 3 months later there are still some grills that were pulled out of the ground & are still laying sideways on the ground because they haven't been put back in. I saw some little kids climbing on them the other day and just thought to myself that that's a lawsuit waiting to happen...some kid is gonna get hurt. I do have to say that most of the ladies that work in the office are nice, but it just seems like something has been missing the past couple years here. I love the location in Fishers, and it does still have a safe family atmosphere that I like--but they just really need to kick it up a notch with the grounds and maintenance. There are other apartments with much nicer (and newer) facilities for close to the same price in Fishers & Carmel. I am sad to say that this will probably be our last year here unless some major things change. I do know that this summer our complex was hit by a hail storm which has preoccupied the maintenance staff, but it's been over a month now. I hope that things start to look better soon.
