I think this is the best deal in Fishers. If you want anything nicer you will have to pay several hundreds more each month.
Parking: Never have a problem findng a space. I rent a detached garage and it is very close to my apartment. The parking space in front of the garage is yours so you can shovel it in the winter to keep it clear. They will plow it but its not perfect so its nice to have a reserve space that I know is just for me.

Noise: You can hear your neighbors... mostly ones above you. You can also hear the interstate. This is not a problem if you choose your apartment carefully. I was on the 2nd floor facing the woods so nobody was above me and the interstate noise was hardly an issue.

Grounds: Its nice I guess... My apt faced the woods so I had a really pretty view. They have 2 pools so its nice in the summer. I always found space to lay out.

Safety: I always feel safe at Lanter Woods. I know they have had some cars in the parking lot broken into but this was never an issue for me since I had a garage.

Construction: I think its nice. White cabinets have a very clean feeling. The 9ft celings really opened it up. I love the Garden Tub in the larger apartment bathrooms. Closets are large and again... the 9ft celings really help with the vertical storage space. They provide washer and dryer and they always worked fine. I have trouble with the air conditioning... i think they leak.. but they charged it and it was perfectly fine.

Maintenance: I have had good service and bad service when it comes to getting things fixed. For the most part they were quick and effective. I feel the service has gone down lately but the apartments might just be getting older. Over all I am very satisfied with the service the maintenance provides. I am sure any delays were unavoidable.


Staff: Honestly, I can understand the concerns that people have with the staff but I myself have never had any problems. I don't really expect too much. I signed a contaract and as far as I can tell they are fullfilling their part. I feel that many of the negative comments on here are from angry residents who were looking for special treatment and didn't get it. I have been in the leasing office to hear some of the crazy requests the staff gets. I think they are providing a reasonable level of service to the residents and I was suprised they even attempted to fullfill some of them.

Overall: Lantern Woods is a very nice complex in a great location for a great price! Seriously, I have lived in the Fishers area for a while and I have looked at every new complex that gets built. The new ones are nice but usually very small and expensive. My biggest thing with an apartment is that I want to get it clean and I want it to look clean. I have been very pleased with Lantern Woods.
