I have never lived somewhere where the Staff treats its tenants like they do at LW. It?s like you are supposed to feel "privileged" to live there and "lucky" if the Staff acknowledges your question/concern at ALL. And, unfortunately, you WILL have questions and concerns if you move to Lantern Woods!



LW is very attractive from the OUTSIDE - nice landscaping - but that is about it. A tenant in a ground floor apartment can expect to have bugs - year round - could be roaches, spiders, or little black worms. Lovely - especially if you have company. And just wait for your heating bill - or move somewhere ELSE and go out for a few nice dinners, instead. There is no insulation in the second bedroom so you might as well just bundle up, or make your kids sleep in the living room'



Never mind what your company thinks - as soon as your upstairs neighbor moves in, you will be too embarrassed to have company over anymore. Mine sound like elephants in hiking boots, at all hours of the night. When their plants die, they yank them out of their pots by the roots and just "dispose" of them by throwing them down on my porch. Management is, as usual, unresponsive.



There is not enough parking for the tenants. If that isn?t bad enough, some tenants feel obliged to park their 2nd and 3rd vehicles, boat trailers, etc. wherever they please and since they just sit there 24/7, it takes away from the tenants? parking. I have walked from 3 buildings away carrying groceries because of this. Of course, don?t bother calling MGMT - they will have you fill out a complaint but nothing will ever come of it.



Let me say AGAIN that I have NEVER seen or heard of such an apathetic Staff on any property - and I am in the Real Estate business.



Trash - trash' Since it?s not enough that we pay our own individual water and sewer bills, at LW you can ALSO look forward to hauling your own trash to a "compactor facility" that is usually overflowing - TRULY disgusting!



I LOVE LW?s phone recording - get used to it, you?ll hear it many times over if you choose to call LW Staff at any time. Anyway, it talks about their "2 lovely pools" or whatever...........last Summer the main pool was closed on weekends because of Mgmt?s inability to fix it during the work week. The second pool didn?t open until sometime in August - YES, AUGUST - and, of course, LW?s pools were the ONLY pools in the city, state, and possibly country-wide to be closed ON LABOR DAY WEEKEND. NICE!!!



Finally, the "amenities;" RIGHT!!! I, too, was told that there weren?t any "amenity" keys when I moved in. Finally, after 1 year living here, I asked for one. The rude staff person first lied about having any, and then actually argued with me that I might already have one. I didn?t want ONE, let alone TWO! My car was in the shop and I needed to work out so foolishly I thought I?d use the "gym" at LW. What a JOKE! One treadmill (broken, of course.) If there is more than one person trying to work out, just forget it. And, the "tanning" bed - yes; if you WANT skin cancer, definitely use the one at LW. Like everything else, it?s so poorly maintained, you could save yourself the time by removing the top layer of skin from your face, yourself.



I have never seen such conditions (or been treated so rudely) anywhere before and hope that I never do, again!!!
