Feels like home to me...

I don't know about anyone else, but I have lived at Lantern Woods now for 4 years so I feel like maybe my experience would be helpful to newcomers. I have never really had any big complaints. Yes, the car wash has been out of commission pretty often and yes the smaller pool was not open for some of the time I've lived here and yes there are a handful of idiots living here that don't know what it means to respect their neighbors - but that's everywhere. But when I walk through the door and plop down on the couch, I feel like I'm home. I have lived all over Indy and have heard horror stories from many friends who live elsewhere. But for me personally I have never felt unsafe, never worried about my car being broken into, and never had any major maintenance issues. I have dealt with the different office staff over the years and have found them to use the same approach with me that I choose to use with them. Maintenance has always been quick to respond. And who could ask for a better area to live in. This spot in Fishers is close to EVERYTHING but not so close that you feel stuck in a big traffic jam. I have looked at many other complexes and have yet to find any that have the same look and feel inside with comparable rates. The places I have checked out have been COMPLETELY overpriced in my opinion. But then I'm a gal who loves tall ceilings, garden tubs, crown molding, etc. It's kinda fancy, relatively affordable, and offers a great location. I really like it. Hope that helps!
