Lantern Woods

Edit: After having problems with both maintance and the staff, I've become fed up with this place.

Yes, the parking is a pain in the ---, unless you've got a garage (which isn't always connected to your complex) it's hit or miss, but it's nothing more than a few extra feet.

The workout/weight room facility isn't bad either. Although, I'd recommend a gym membership for people more into boxing/weight-lifting/swimming for exercise.

The in-unit washer/dryer is a huge bonus. I couldn't imagine having to do laundry the old college way (going down the hall or to a laundromat) and having to share.

Yeah, the dog poop is also a problem and there's not a whole lot that can be done until management steps up to the plate. Along the lines with the poop, there's a $400 pet deposit, which is way too much.

Maintance is generally out within a day or two, but, they weren't able to fix the leaking sewer gas problem. Yes, that's right, sewer gas is leaking in the master bath (the maintance guy said that it's a result of the building being built cheaply so rather than have the pipes running outside, they decided to let them filter in each aparment's bathroom).

The staff, my God are they aweful. They don't have answers, nor do they care to get them. When going in for the simplist things - to pick up packages - takes up to 20 minutes......how? Granted, before we signed the lease, one of the employees was very helpful, and that's when it ended. As soon as our money was handed over.

I can't wait for the lease to be up, and I can be done with Lantern Woods Apartments.
