I have lived in many different apts. and this is the worst complex I have ever experienced. Expectations'!'! Throw them out the window the second you make the turn into this hell-hole, and with that I am being kind.
Back in late July I called maintenence to come and fix several things in the apt that needed repairs and do you know to this day I am the one that fixed most of everything with the exception of a few things that are STILL waiting for maintenence.
I find it to be sad when the apt reps care more for the lawn care than the tenants and their needs. The landscaping here is beautiful and the grass is greener here then anywhere in central indiana. Why' Because the only thing keeping this place running is the exterior and the green grass.
Thank Gosh I have 1 more month of this and lantern woods can kiss my #^&^%$@#!@*%^$

Good luck on your walkthrough with the maintenance manager when you move out. They won't do it before 9:00 or after 5:00 or over lunch. When we moved out a year ago we complained that it wasn't convenient to do the walkthrough and the rep passed it on to the manager so I got an expletive filled welcome from him before the walkthrough. Glad she passed that on.....Unbelievably unprofessional people work there.

I lived in Lantern Woods for 2 years and it's one of the better places I've lived. In fact, everyone that I know who has lived there has said the same thing, that it's a great place to live! So seeing these bad reviews concerns me! Yes, the upkeep on the grounds is a bit lavish, but any problems I did have in my apartment were fixed within a day, usually less. The apartments are gorgeous and reasonably priced. Some of the staff are not overly friendly, but I didn't have to deal with them much anyway. Maybe the people who have had such negative feelings about this are hard to please anyway.
