I think the same person just logged on and griped 10-15 times.. There was a change in management in the last 6 months and I didn't know the folks before too well, but I have had nothing but pleasent experiences in dealing with them. They are always kind and quick to respond. Maintenance (the 2 times I needed them) answered the request same day. It's an apartment complex..They can't (by law) control who moves in. As long as they are credit worthy they have to give them a place to live, by law. If you want privacy and to control your neighbors, move to Carmel in a $500,000 home. My neighbors are ALL very friendly and nice people. School teacher, firefighter etc. Not exaclty a bunch of "druggies" as another put it. The pool is great. There are two of them and the crowd at each is different. The one behind the clubhouse tends to be the "party pool" and the other tends to be the quieter, more kid friendly pool. The complex is kept clean, neighbors are nice, staff is nice, apartment is nice for the money. I have absolutely zero complaints about this place. I think it is all the expectation you go into it with. HELLO''' it is an apartment complex. By nature it is going to attract all different kinds of folks. If you want exclusivity, then get a different job so you don't have to live in an apartment and move with the rest of the snobs at Geist or Carmel. This place is VERY nice for an apartment complex...and yes... I really live there and don't work there!

If the management has in fact changed in the last six months, then there's hope for Lantern Woods. But the staff that was there when I lived there was just awful. Totally disinterested, discourteous, unhelpful and obviously bored. Who runs the place now?
