When we moved in, it was pretty awesome but this was when JC Hart owned the property. The old staff was great... super friendly and they would do anything for you. When the apartment complex got bought by this new company, I had notes on my door every other day! First they changed the locks which we had to schedule appts. for during the week... like we don't work, then we got notices threatening evictions if we didn't remove our grills (everyone had one b/c the old mgt. let us), we got mean letters about our beloved pets, and they instituted all of these new policy changes that completely changed the living habits at sand creek woods. They redid the gym which took almost 4 months (they said it would be down for 1 month) and then made us pay $25 to use it when we used to be able to use it for free! It was still cramped and crowded when they finished it. The same thing goes for the pool... $25! Also, I woke up one morning and went into the kitchen in my skimpy PJs and there were men on my balcony painting... they gave me no warning! They are supposed to notify you of those things. Any time I had issues and needed to talk to a property manager or maintenance, I was stuck with some temp. at the front desk that had no idea of what was going on. All they could do was take messages that never got returned. Also, I lived in an apt. with a pond view. Well, the fountain was broken which caused a misquito farm and then when they tried to fix it (after many many angry calls), the pond was constantly draining causing all of the fish to die and it created quite a stench! There was a lot of trash in the pond so I called in a maintenance request to have it cleaned up because I had family coming into town. It NEVER got done and I gave ample notice. My family even said something about all of the trash; I was so embarrassed. The staff was very cold and unfriendly. They seemed more interested in getting people's money than about their living experience. Needless to say, I will NOT be renewing my lease and I can't wait to get the heck out of here. Please send your money somewhere else if you want some sort of quality in apartment living. You definitely won't find that here. PS The class of tenants has drastically changed since the new mgt. co. took over. I wonder if they're even screening people. I don't feel nearly as safe as I used to... it's getting borderline ghetto and we're in Fishers for crying out loud! Qlkxv6lfLuuXn3BrtpO7
