Over priced for the quality of the apartments. Had we looked around more before we moved in, we probably wouldn't have lived there... but we were in a hurry and the $99 move-in special sounded great!
When we moved in, they gave us a garage that was already rented to someone else..So, one day my fiance' went to get his motorcycle from the garage and Sunblest had changed the locks without even notifying us or letting us know that someone else had access to our posessions...Not to mention, the garage we did have was about a mile from the apartment and they still wanted to charge us the montly fee to park under a carport... "I'd be happy I even have a garage" is what we were told..
The dishwasher rattled like CRAZY..washer and dryer were great... Stove and microwave were about a thousand years old...There was a mouse under the apartment that would scratch the outside wall, waking us up constantly...lady at the office said there was nothing they could do.
When we moved in I started feeling very sick, and went to many many doctors..not knowing what was wrong...and now that I saw the post about the black mold, that seems to correlate with the symptoms I was experiencing. Idk if symptoms of mold go away after you move, but I have been much better after leaving there.
Honestly, we did have our issues with Sunblest and that is why we did not choose to renew our lease with them but it wasn't a terrible experience living there. Pricing for the quality is absolutely rediculous. I'd advise whoever is looking at Sunblest to try Wellington Place! It is off 96th and Lantern, very close to Sunblest - but cheaper and MUCH MUCH nicer!
