Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006
Just a response to those former or current residents posting comments in regards to problems with ants, compactors, noise, etc. I lived in a townhome and a traditional 2 bedroom in Wellington for a number of years before purchasing a home. My husband and I enjoyed all of the time we spent at WP. We too had issues. BUT THAT'S APARTMENT LIVING PEOPLE!!!! And every issue we had was resolved. You can't control your neighbors, if they leave food out, you are going to get ants, it doesn't matter if you are living in a 600.00 apartment or a 5000.00 a month apartment, ants migrate. We also had a couple of rowdy neighbors, but again, that was resolved by ACTUALLY SPEAKING to the culprits about my problem with their noise levels. In both cases, they didn't realize how loud they were being. The compactors can't be blamed on anybody but the RESIDENTS, and other random people who deem it necessary to leave their garbage that their trash people won't take! I don't know how many times I have witnessed people just take their trash and set it BESIDE the compactor, instead of placing it inside and pushing the little button. I have also seen the maintenance guys wrestling some sort of chair or mattress into the compactor after it has been left. They try hard to keep it a beautiful community, but when others don't care it's just a never-ending battle. What I'm basically saying is I enjoyed both of my residence's and if I ever required another apartment, Wellington Place would be my first pick!!!!
