My husband and I lived at Wellington for a year, and are only moving because of a job transfer to another city. We really enjoyed living at Wellington. It was a very quiet and safe place to live, and we never once felt uncomfortable or unsafe there, even at night. The grounds were very well kept (although the mowers did sometimes come pretty early on Saturday mornings), and the office staff was always nice, professional, and took care of our problems right away. We only had two complaints. The first was that every weekend the other residents would decide that they did not need to put their trash in the compacters, so it would be sitting outside the compacters in a big heaping pile (which would be taken care of on Monday), and the maintenance staff did not seem to be very good at their job. If it was a quick fix, they would take care of it, but if it was something that was any more complicated than a leaky faucet, they would pretend to fix it, but not really do anything. I had to ask them to come in three times to scrape out mold in the caulking of the bathtub and recaulk because they were not doing the job. They actually came in one time and put down caulk on the old caulk that was peeling off the wall. The new caulk was not even against the wall! And the most frusterating part is that the maintenance staff does not clean up after themselves after they are done. Everytime they came, I had to mop the floors because they left muddy footprints and dirt everywhere.

Despite the maintenance problems, I would still recommend this complex to anyone looking. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay here and everyone we dealt with. I just wish the maintenance staff could get their act together.
