I've lived in Wellington place apartments for nearly three years, and overall, I think it's a pretty decent place. The rent is fairly affordable. I'm a full-time student and am employed part-time. It's been affordable with a roommate. In general, the office staff is helpful, BUT...

Con's:
-when returning your security deposit, they're not very consistent on what constitutes damages. Once I got ripped off, the next time, I got all my deposit back. It's a silly guessing game of whether they're in a generous mood or not.
-upon move-in inspection of my second apartment, they promised to replace the damaged flooring in a bathroom and the broken latch on the screen door. Neither of these promises were ever met.
-I did have an ant problem for a short time, for which it took about three trips from an exterminator to fix.
-the office staff mistakenly gave me and my roommate an eviction notice due to unpaid rent....serious paperwork error here that really freaked me out.
-they also sent my security deposit to the wrong address so I waited on it for several months (um, how can you get my address wrong...I live in your apartment complex)
-even though i've been a good tenant for three years, they aren't really willing to work with me to get into another apartment of theirs that I can afford on my own.
-the equipment in the fitness room is almost always broken or missing pieces.
-the dumpsters are ALWAYS overflowing (although huge kudos to the guys who are knee-deep in it trying to clean up)

But the pro's of this complex are:
-The staff promptly responds to phone calls and they are very helpful and nice (I've dealt with a girl named Kristen, I think, and Jama. Both are very nice and great at their job)
-The staff takes noise complaints very seriously. I was pleased with how they handle those situations, even when they once called about my apartment. They were very courteous
-when I was calling to complain about my unreturned security deposit, Angela was very understanding, explanatory, and she returned every one of my phone calls (even though they weren't pleasant ones)
-maintenance responds quickly to calls

So...if you're a responsible and respectful tenant, then Wellington is the place for you. The staff and neighbors are friendly. I'd stay if I could..
