I just moved in here and theres people crawling everywhere. Along on that there loud and ignorant. The office is a bunch of bull ---- and the lie all the time. I the kitchen is big enough for 1 person to stand in, at least in the 1 bedrooms it is. I have a child and im scared to let him bye the windows. When I go outside with him he has to hold my hand because its not safe

totally agree...that's all I was saying in my review. i'm from indianapolis, and coming from the suburbs to that was a scary experience. i didn't like sitting in my living room, because i was too close to the windows. I was awakened by gunfire several times. I suggest apartments in portage or merrillville.

My experience is very pleasent at Lakeshore dunes apartments. The office staff is full of people that always respond to my issues promptly. Before moving I ventured thru various apartments until me & my leasing agent found the best fit for me & my lifestyle. Portage & Merrillville areas are probably o.k. too but every complex or community has their own set of issues---No Matter Where you R...
