I have lived at Lakeshore Dunes for 5 years, and have seen the area progressively get worse.
The staff is extremely slow to respond to maintenance issues, they are becoming more and more lax about the new tenants that they accept in, and the area is becoming more depressed.
I know an elderly tenant who has been the victim of home invasions twice in the past 6 months.
I know another tenant who had a vehicle stolen right in front of the apartment.
I have had good neighbors for the past 4 years, but with the more relaxed admittance process, now we have a couple of very disrespectful people in our building.
Security, obviously, is a joke...the high crime rate of the area is bleeding into our community, the property manager LITERALLY ducks and hides from tenants to avoid assisting them.
It is pathetic! There are a lot of gangsters and drug dealers in the apartment community.
Not a great place to have small kids.
Do your self a favor, and Just Say NO!!

I though about moving there, but after reading theses reviews I rather move to portage.

Miller does not have a high crime rate. Lakeshore Dunes does. I have lived in Miller many years and never had one problem. My relatives live in Portage and have never had a problem with racism if that's what you were implying "Dontmincewords".
