I went to the Westbrook apartments in search of a two bedroom apartment. Before I went to the office to inquire about the apartment I drove around the community. Horrid so to speak!! It was nothing like the commericial but I still was going to take a chance because the apartment was so cheap and I was only looking for a place to lay my head. After viewing the community I decided to go into the office and find out more about the apartment. I was greeting by a young woman was told me to wait and someone would be right with me. So I waited for about 2mins then the same woman came back and said "ok can I help you" I told her I would like to view a model if they had one available. She said that I had to show her two of my check stubs and make over $850.00/mth before I could view an apartment. I complied and showed her my check stubs which on each of my stubs alone I made well over $850.00. Do you know that she threw me back my check stubs and said that the manager would not even consider my application because I have not been on my job for more than 8mths I tried to explain to her that I have another job that I have been on for more than 8mths and she just continued to babble about we have to use this income. She never once gave me an option to bring back to other check stubs, they never once told me I had to work for my company for more than 8mths. Westbrook made me waste my gas and mileage and I was not to happy with the service. I felt that she could have atleast offered me a brouchere instead of shoving me out the door. I feel that if she did not want to show apartments on that particular day then she should have called off of work, because her job is to answer questions SHOW APARTMENTS.
