These past reviews are a fake & a fony. Apparently somebody in the management office wrote up the reviews or had somebody write the reviews. The apartments are new, which is nice, but they are not very well maintained. I didn't rent from this complex, but my interaction with the management staff and looking at the complex steered me clear. If you really want to know what they're like, read reviews for Summer Place, their sister complex. Just driving through the complex is a turn off. Nothing is maintained properly. They have apparent cash flow issues. They wouldn't show me an apartment until I put a $200 deposit down on it first!!! What a joke! Never EVER rent an apartment without seeing it first, especially if they require a large security payment first.
I've also heard from many people that lived here that it is like pulling teeth to get your security deposit back. Be prepared to get a lawyer. That was the other reason why I didn't rent there. If you do, take lots of pictures of all the flaws in the apartment with a date/time stamp on the picture. That will hold up in court. Oh, and take pictures of the same flaws when you move out.

After reading this, I feel it is a person or persons who have issues after they apparently moved out on trying to get their deposits back. Alot of people trash these beautiful apartments, then expect to get the money back. What a disgrace to the Property Management, Maintenance and Office Management. I am very proud to drive in here and so are my neighbors. If there should be any nonsense of this trashy e-mail, take it up with the Corporate Office, not in here. This rating should be all high lighted in green for sure. So, if anyone is interested in viewing these apartments, I welcome you all to come. Ignore these ignorant letters because people are very rude when they don't get their way. I Remain, Sue

In response to the first email - I didn't have to put down any money to get a tour of the apartments. I live at Spring Lake and really like it. I have no complaints about the staff or maintenance. There are always things that I could point out that I don't like (like some potholes in the parking lot) but those are minor compared to the peace and quiet at this place. That was the best feature to me - because it's a small complex, it's very quiet with a few (if any) children. No college parties, no "boom boom" stereos, no riff-raff.

I moved to Spring Lake in April of 2009 and I didn't have to put down any money to view an apartment there. I loved the office staff. Tiffany was very helpful and very nice. Danielle was just taking over the property and was very polite and helpful also. The Maintenance staff is great. The place is looking better day by day.
