I had an awesome apartment, was easy to get into, and enjoyed every minute of living in Bexley. Until my roommate had a bit of financial trouble, she came up with her half rent 2 weeks late, I had paid mine on time. Yet April D. Hall, the General Manager, still evicted us, even though I had paid my rent. I was brought into the middle of it because I was on the lease along with my friend. So now I have an eviction on my name. Lastly, we only had 3 months left on the lease. Even though I loved this apartment I am extremely disappointed in the way the manager handled this. It was very childish. Word of mouth is the best way to get the word around, and I will do what I can to deter anyone I know from moving there. I recently had run into a leasing agent who no longer works for Bexley and I had a conversation about it, and she even agreed it was quite unprofessional.

I so don't believe that. I lived at Bexley from spring of 2004 to the end of summer in 2006. The only reason I moved is to be closer to work at Keystone @ the Crossing. The office management (including April) always worked w/me & other people IF you were a good tenant. They would not kick you out of your apartment if you were two weeks late for nothing. They want your money. It costs them as well so I don't see how they evicted you unless you were not a good tenant. I LOVED it there!!! Miss you girls!!! Erin K.

i totally agree april has always been wonderful even if your roommate didnt pay rent you staill half to pay rent apartments arent free duh!

This sounds like a consequence for not having a dependable roommate. No matter the circumstances, rent is always due in full by a certain date or an eviction will be filed. Also, if your name is on the lease you are just as responsible as your roommate. I don't think its the managers fault for that. She's just doing her job. The manager is really great to work with. I'm sure if you asked to make payment arangements she would have worked with you.

Jessica was the only reasonable person there. The rest are all morons unless you pucker up to them or sleep with them.
