We were told we were making too much noise in our apartment, and were threatened with eviction. The noise: we were walking around. The prop. manager told us to stop walking in our apartment. SHE TOLD US TO STOP WALKING! What are we supposed to do, crawl' On top of that she straight made up some other stuff about when we previously lived here and tries to use it against us, and talks to us like we're children.

Wow I'm shocked. I lived there for almost a year and moved out in February of 09 and never experienced maintenance issues like this. They always were very quick to help me when needed. When the floods did come last year and my apartment flooded (I was on the bottem floor on the lake) they came in and blocked up all my furniture and hardly anything got ruined. I was out of town when it occured and so was grateful for what they DID do. (Although the dryout company was a bunch of idiots and didn't even place dehumidifiers in the home, it took more than 4-5 days to dry out).
After moving to an apartment complex in Columbus, Ohio, I can tell you, for the rent, you can't get much better in Greenwood. The place I was resorted to living in was a DUMP hole compared to Courts of Valle Vista, but maybe things changed drastically inthe months since I left.
I'm sorry you had a problem there... The management is less than appealing from what I'm told now.
I will tell you, I never did receive my deposit back nor any letter telling me WHY it wasn't. I left my apartment in a cleaner state than it was when I moved in, for sure.
Good luck!

Since we work 3rd shift, the old manager insisted on placing us in an upstairs apt. THIS manager refused to put us in a downstairs until we threatend to leave, after threatening to evict us anaccuse us of playing games. She has also told us she called to leave us messages on a phone that was diconnected. We don't stomp, and are rarely home. The manager is also slow on paperwork and says we never filled it out when she never gave it to us. She's incredibly rude and cannot even give us basic information. Even if we have proof we are not home, she accuses us of making noise I.e. Walking around.
