I have lived at Mission Hills for about a year and a half and at first it was okay, besides NO parking spaces EVER! I live here with an infant and I have this horribly LOUD and RUDE family above me with two huge dogs. I hear the guy pee, sing, whistle, talk, walk...I hear the dogs non-stop...I hear the guy slam down the toilet seat...the list can go on and on! His music and t.v. are non-stop!! I can have my t.v. on and still hear his voice and his t.v. or music! I have complained at least 30 times and he has recieved 2 if not 3 written letters and a couple phone calls. He has not stopped at all. Finally, the manager offered me to transfer, but I would have to sign a new 12 month lease...ridiculous, considering I'm not the problem! So, I tried to deal with it. About a week ago, I was so frustrated with his noise that I pounded on the ceiling to give hima hint to shut up. So, he banged on his floor really hard 3 times, so ,in turn, i banged 3 times. Next thing I know, he is charging down the stairs and turning my doorknob like a maniac! If my door wouldn't have been locked he would have come in!! So, I called the police and then left a message with the apartment telling them that I have got to get out of the lease and away from the crazy guy. What young girl and young baby should have to live there'! So, they called me the next day and said they offered him to transfer, but, of course he declined to do so! The manager them said I could give a 60 day notice and end my lease. I tried explaining to her that since that incident I have not stayed at my apartment because I am scared and I don't think that I should be forced to pay 2 months rent when he should be the one evicted. Note: In the lease it states that when you break the noise rules, you get ONE notice and then have to pay monetary fees or face eviction! He has received 2 or 3 and has gotten phone calls plus has had the "courtesy officer" called over numerous times AND has had the police called for being a lunatic! So, why has he not been evicted'' I would love for the management to live in my apartment for one day...they would go crazy with all of the noise!! Needless to say, Mission Hills DOES NOT resolve issues and could obvioulsy care less about the safety of their residents! Wish me luck because I have called their corporate office to complain! The management shouldn't be able to enforce only the rules of the lease that works for them the best!!

I live here too and totally agree!!! We (my wife and an eight year old)had the same problem, and our problem lived above us and moved out three weeks ago! They was so rude, with banging loud music and above my daughters bedroom turned into a night club after 11:00 PM. Management is very poor here, and we are moving out very shortly!

I disagree, we have lived at Mission Hills for 2 years now. We had some problems with some neighbors but the management corrected the problem right away. Of course we still here our neighbors now and then but we are in an apartment and can only EXPECT to have that. We are very happy here and plan to continue living here until we purchase a home.
