The title says it all, my husband and I have lived here for 3 years now, with no plans to move any time soon. We've never been happier. Our 2 bedroom townhouse is huge, and we've never had a problem with anything. Sure the buildings have been around a while, but that's part of their charm. We have big, beautiful trees, and the grounds are very well maintained.The location is fabulous, we're within 5 minutes of absolutely everything we could possibly want or need. The staff has been wonderful, maintenance included. We've only had to call them once or twice, and they were very nice, prompt and helpful.
Unfortunately, in today's society, there probably isn't a neighborhood on the planet where a police presence isn't sometimes required. I've not seen them in our neighborhood once a month though. Frankly, I'm happy that the Greenwood Police Dept does respond when called. We moved here from downtown Indianapolis, a neighborhood where the police couldn't be bothered to respond to reports of things like shots fired and thefts. It was a place where I was afraid to go out my front door at night. I no longer have that fear. If I want to go for a walk alone at night, I can.
We've talked it over, and when our lease is up, we plan to sign another. This is the best place I've ever lived. I can't help but wonder if some of the other resident's issues are a little exaggerated. If you're looking for a clean, safe, happy place to move your family, you won't find a better spot.
