This complex was my first experience out on my own and at first I thought it was okay but now that I am out of there and into a much better complex I realize all the crap I went through. My first apt there horribly insulated resulting in $70 electric bill for a studio apt. Had waterheater problems...could not even fill up the bathtub before the hot water ran out. Buildings are very old and you can tell. Cabinets and appliances are outdated. Staff a little unfriendly and unwilling to help you out very much once you are moved in. I ended up staying another year due to my innocence but soon learned fast that this place was definitely not what it was cracked up to be. I moved to a different larger apt which was nicer but there was mold in all my cabinets apparently from a water leak from the apartment above. The mold was clearly visible on all upper panels of the cabinets and on the doors. A hole in the wall under the kitchen sink showed dripping pipes and slime. Found more than one cockroach which the staff told me was not a cockroach but was a waterbug. The Orkin man was sent out and told me that a waterbug is the same thing as a cockroach....these things were 2 to 3 inches in length and hideous. Cockroach remains visible in the parking lot after they power wash the wallkways and laundry facilities. Bad neighbors. Felt unsafe living on my own on more than one occassion. Rent was cheap but you get what you pay for. Horribly close to fire station. Expect screaming fire engines at all times of the day and night. Paper thin walls. I could hear the man above me using his toilet and other unspeakables.

On the other hand, the maintence men were amazingly helpful and friendly in personality. They even live in the buildings so they understand a little of what you are going through. The location is decently located in walking distance to the mall and other shopping centres. Good discount for students as with most apartment complexes in this area.
