Only if you absolutely can't afford anything else

Polo Run can be great when you need a place in a pinch. They have a huge community, so usually getting an apartment any time of the year isn't a problem. Also, they currently do not charge a security deposit, and they run good specials during the summer, (I paid $350/month for a one bedroom apartment) so if you don't have a lot of money, Polo Run can be a great option. It's close to everything and the landscaping is nice.
Having said that, though, I would not recommend Polo Run apartments if you can afford anything else in Greenwood or on the south side of Indy.
First: Your neighbors will suck (unless you enjoy trash bags sitting outside the doors or the police being called on a weekly basis).
Second: The apartments are OOOLLLLDDD and management has done very little to update them. Expect drafty rooms and a high electric bill, not to mention the little things that will break all the time.
Third: Management is extremely careless and borders on incompetent at times. They will lose your rent checks. They will charge you ridiculous fees (lawfully so, but complaints about the validity of the fees have been around for years). And they will basically be rude to you any time you need help with anything.
Basically, I loved it when I first moved in because I was saving so much money. Now that I've been here a year, and am back at paying market value, I'd much rather pay a little more for some peace and quiet, lower electric bills, and friendlier management staff.
