Hey everyone. Figured to put in my two cents for comparison.
I just moved into Polo Run as of December 2008, and we are loving it here.
For your comparison look at Greentree Apartments and then you will truly see a bad apartment complex. No heat, too many --------- infringing upon my personal space, disrespectful children that knock on a door that isn't theirs or run up and down the stairs screaming or tearing apart the playground equipment, maintenance that refuses to do any work correctly the first time, office staff that only really listens to their hispanic populace, a balcony that I was terrified to stand on for fear of it collapsing.
Here so far at Polo Run, it is quiet, the heat is fantastic, the balconies are secure, I do not easily hear my neighbors, my garbage disposal works on a regular basis, my dishwasher actually cleans my dishes, my windows actually do keep out the cold, my balcony door doesn't have an inch gap in it, my front door does not have a gap in it that allowed a draft and sunlight through, I do not fear walking to my car in the early morning or late night, I do not fear swimming in the pool because a man died in it last summer, I do not fear some child coming in and blowing us a away like the elderly gentleman just this last year, or some guy robbing a liquor store, or a car that was careening around a corner with a drunk driver who hit 3 cars at least totaling one and they never found the driver that lived in the building across the road, oh and they didn't give my name and information to a company called Utility Recovery Systems so they could charge me for water, sewer, and trash when my lease said they paid those utilities. And my final gripe, they neglected to turn off the URS bill and they are charging me, after speaking with a lady at the office, she told me it could take 3 MONTHS to switch the bill back and I offered to call URS and she told me not to bother. I called URS back and they laughed and IMMEDIATELY faxed back to Greentree.
So now, tell me, how bad is Polo Run'
I am ecstatic here, I love it. The office staff is knowledgeable, honest, and they listen to their residents. I have yet to have an interaction with maintenance because my apartment hasn't NEEDED it. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG

Welcome to polo run. I have been here going on 3 years at the end of next month. I also had an aunt who lived in greentree and I know how bad it is cause I use to hang out there it is a bad apartment complex. I was close to moving there three years ago but decided here because it was still in greenwood and I have a friend who lives here. I only had a few problems with people living above me and next to me but they dont last long here which is a plus. And the maintenance team our pretty good here I had no a/c for two weeks and the guy was like screw it and got a new one. Well hope enjoy living here and welcome to polo run.
