I'm in the 8th month of my year lease. In my and my wife's experience the parking is plentiful, there aren't any disturbances, and most residents either are friendly or mind their own business. The office staff have always been very nice and helpful. Maintenance leaves much to be desired. Most of them don't know what they're doing and I'm sure the head of maintenance tells them to try and fix any problem as cheaply as possible. Every appliance is old and breaks down constantly. For most things the maintenance is out same day and for anything considered an emergency they are out within 15 minutes. However, it will take anywhere from 2-5 calls to actually get a problem fixed. Recently, we've made 5 calls and 1 office visit about a broken interior door and there have been 2 trips made and no one has brought a new door yet even though they keep saying they'll come out and put one in. It doesn't latch because it's so old the cheap material on the outside has broken around the latch. We have had to call on the water heater 5 times, the furnace 4 times, and the a/c 3 times. Nothing works right and our electricity bill is anywhere from 20-50 dollars more than it should be depending on the weather because the old appliances are so inefficient. The 1 bedroom apartments are tiny and the dog park is full of ----. I understand you get what you pay for, but if I'm paying any amount of money for rent I expect everything to work properly. Also, I think a pet fee is ridiculous anywhere and almost all places have one, but a $300 non refundable non pro rated pet fee is ricockulous.
