The apartments need to be updated. The appliances are getting too old and do not work effectively, but the complex won't replace them. My dishwasher barely washes dishes (and no, I don't put anything extra dirty in it) and, the handle broke off my microwave.

Don't expect snow removal in the winter. Management only plowed 1x in 2009 when it snowed in excess of 8 inches. So expect to have to plow your own car out or stay at home. Management rarely, if ever, cleans the breezeway areas. I have swept the steps and vacuumed the breezeway area myself since management never does it.

They say large dogs are not allowed, but that is crap. There are several large dogs over 50 lbs. in the complex.

The apartment manager actually lives in the complex. She is rarely in the office during hours but you can always find her out on her patio "enjoying the weather" (snooping on tenants). The apartment manager is a gossip and tells everyone everything about everybody. So, if you move here, be certain to keep your business to yourself.

Several apartments experience their pilot lights going out in the winter from the slightest wind. Management's excuse is that there is nothing they can do but relight it or they'll tell you to turn on your electric oven for heat. Try sleeping comfortably without heat when it's 2 degrees outside.

There are quarterly inspections. So expect someone to walk into your apartment at least 4 times a year to do absolutely nothing. The say they are checking for leaks and repairs, but I always thought that was what a maintenance request form is for. I've never lived in a place with such a lack of privacy from management. Good luck on getting an exact date of when they will come to your apartment. Management acts like this is subsidized housing.

The "pond" or cesspool is not maintained. It has algae and is becoming overgrown and is basically a breeding ground for mosquitoes in the summer. There is nothing appealing about it. The grass is not treated so there are a lot of Canadian geese in the spring/summer. If you live on the bottom floor, expect a lot of goose poop on your patio, so much so that you cannot enjoy your own living space.

You are so wrong,since we got our new manager Jannie this place has gotten so much nicer. Jannie she get things done around here. If you have a problem she will get right on it. Her office door is always open.... As far as the snooping goes I guess you are a pro because you sure know what she is doing... You are a real joke. She is just keeping a good eye out for our safty. She would never tell you to use your oven for heat she would offer you her portable heater. This is the best and saftest place to live.. Jannie keep up the good work..
