Not a bad place

Moving into Trotters Pointe was a great decision for us. Our apartment is spacious and clean. The utilizes all work correctly. Any problems we have experienced have been taken care of quickly and efficiently by the maintenance staff. The high ceilings and the numerous windows are nice and aesthetically pleasing but can lead to higher heating bills in the long run. Also, the office manager is disagreeable and ignorant. If you want to work with someone pleasant, find Ciera or Amy. They have always been pleasant and know their residents by name.
The clubhouse is nice and I have seen many parties there. There is a workout room and a tanning bed. Both are great assets to living there. There have been many problems with both the workout room and the tanning bed while we have lived here, but the office staff (Amy and Ceira) are more than willing to fix anything as soon as they know about it. One resident who used to tanning bed went into it with red nail polish on and got it all over the bed. Once the staff knew about it, they had it cleaned within the day. Any other problems that I have encountered have been fixed in a timely manner.
The lighting in the parking lots is poor and makes going to cars at night a scary experience sometimes. There are cops that do live in the complex and the city cops patrol the complex grounds occasionally.
Some of the other residents are not exactly the cleanest or most educated people in the world but they tend to keep to themselves. If you are alright with not socializing with your neighbors and having a nice apartment, this place is fine for you. You just have to make sure your concerns are heard by the office staff and that you have no problem with complaining when the need arises. Living here has been pleasant without many problems.
I will say that the new manager does send out the most needlessly threatening stock letters when a personal call or personalized (and pleasant) letter would suffice. I would say that the biggest problem here is the manager. Yes, the children in the complex are a bit unruly and run a bit wild but they are children. They live in an apartment complex which is the best that their hard working parents can afford and may not have the space to play like normal children should. The only problem I have had with the children of this complex is that they play in the street and completely disregard cars. With this being said, they have always been polite and well behaved when spoken to by an adult.
I must add that I live in the front of the apartment complex and it does sound like the back part may have its own issues to deal with. I do not know. It is a normal apartment complex with both good and bad aspects, but it is not a bad place to live. My experiences have been pleasant and I would recommend this place to live.

First of all, you probably have had a complaint brought to management that didn't go your way and now you're upset. That's fine. But you are the one who is ignorant, my friend. You have no idea what the office staff deals with on a daily basis, nor do I. As for the "stock letters", it's probably because your rent was late. I think that Trotters Pointe is one of the friendliest, well maintained places on the Southside. And if you think you could run that office better, then let's see you try.
